Hailing from Mozambique, DAGÔ found his love for DJing in an unexpected way - through his brother’s visits from Cape Town, where he was launching his own DJ career. Fascinated by the art of mixing, he began experimenting with his brother’s controller and teaching himself through YouTube tutorials at just 15 years old.

His passion soon turned into action when he started organizing school events, giving him his first taste of performing in front of an audience. Upon moving to Lisbon to study Software Engineering, an opportunity arose to play at an Erasmus party. His set was so well received that the venue owner invited him back regularly, leading to a weekly residency.

Balancing his studies with an increasingly busy DJ schedule was no easy feat, but his dedication paid off. Today, he’s a full-time DJ and a resident at a Lisbon club, with performances taking him across Portugal and Europe. His sets are a fusion of energy, rhythm, and passion - proof that following your instincts can turn a dream into a career.
